Internal Medicine: An Internal Medicine doctor takes care of adult patients. They do not take care of pediatric patients.

Pediatric: A Pediatrician takes care of children under 18 years of age.

Obstetrics and Gynecology: An Obstetrician takes care of pregnant women before, during, and after giving birth. A Gynecologist specializes in female reproductive health related to the uterus, ovaries, and breasts.

Accepts Cash: The doctor accepts a cash payment. Many exams cost $25 to $100

Accepts Insurance: The doctor participates in one or more commercial insurance plans.

Sliding Scale: The doctor offers a reduced charge based on the patient’s income and ability to pay.

Payment Plan Available: The doctor allows a patient bill to be paid overtime.
